Welcome to the Erasmus Mundus Master's in Journalism, Media and Globalisation

The Mundus-Journalism Master is a two-year, truly transnational degree providing a solid foundation for analysing and reporting global changes. Building on journalistic skills, the degree offers a unique combination of journalism, media studies and the social sciences. An international consortium of universities and media outlets work closely together to run the Mundus Journalism programme.

Quick overview of the Mundus Journalism programme

Two to three countries

During the program, Mundus Journalism Students will study in two European countries, with an option to spend part of the first year at a non-EU partner university:

The first year is spent in Aarhus, Denmark at Aarhus University and the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

During the first year, a number of students are selected to study at our non-EU partners: Universities of Berkeley, USA; Sydney, Australia; and Santiago, Chile.

In the second year, students study one of four specialisms at one of the other European partner universities.

After the foundation year, students choose one of four specialisms that blend analyses and journalism in various ways:
