Conference: “Human[i]ties Perspective 2011″ – Registration open!

A date for your diary – 11 and 12 November 2011, ‘Human[i]ties Perspective 2011″, Hamburg

On 11 and 12 November 2011, an exciting event initiated by students and alumni from different Erasmus Mundus programmes in journalism and communication studies is taking place.

The title of the conference is “Human[i]ties Perspective 2011” and it is taking place at the University of Hamburg.

The conference is aimed at students from culture, media and communications studies; it seeks to connect professionals and academics, as well as key concepts among different actors and institutions in society.

Mundus students and alumni, among them Carol d’Essen and Shameem Mahmud from the Mundus Journalism programme, will present their past and present projects.

The conference is focusing on three topics:

  • Cultures and Identities
  • Communication and Democracy
  • Crisis and Risk Communication
